Namibia National Field Archery Championship

NAMIBIA NATIONAL FIELD ARCHERY CHAMPIONSHIP
The competition took place in very windy conditions at the Heja Lodge range of the Windhoek Field Archery Club. Field and Animal rounds took place on Saturday with the Hunter round on Sunday being held under similar conditions.

The newly created class for Young Adults was represented for the first time. This category is for 17 and 18 year olds and was created by the International Field Archery Association (IFAA) in response to the perceived issue of youngsters in this age bracket dropping out of the sport due to the significant jump between the Junior and Adult classes. Young Adults shoot the same distances as the adults, but only compete amongst themselves.

Trophaendienste Taxidermy sponsored the prize money for each category. The Archery Association of Namibia and Windhoek Field Archery would like to thank them for their support.
